Jon Ibrahim has been active in the fire service his entire career. He is a Battalion Chief for the Romeoville Fire Dept. and a lieutenant with the Downers Grove Fire Dept., both in the Chicago area. Early in his career Jon found a passion for what has become his specialty: training and educating new firefighters, as will be seen in Firehouse. He is the Director of Operations for the Romeoville Fire Academy, the busiest municipal fire academy in Illinois. He is a field instructor for the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute, and holds over two dozen State of Illinois professional certifications. He is also an Illinois licensed paramedic. Jon has a Bachelors degree in Fire / Public Administration from Western Illinois University.

No stranger to the entertainment industry, Jon is also an accomplished writer and author. He writes a popular weekly column for NBC Chicago. He wrote the same column for The Chicago Tribune newspaper for almost three years. His column has been syndicated in the Orlando Sun-Sentinel and the Washington CW network on-line. Jon records a weekly podcast radio show, as well as making numerous special guest appearances on many Chicago radio programs. He currently has his first authored book, along with other television prospects, being marketed. Jon currently resides in Chicago.

Jeff Rector is an award-winning filmmaker. His first feature film, “Revamped” which he wrote, directed and produced is being distributed worldwide and domestically and is available through Blockbuster Video, Netflix, Amazon.com and Redbox. Revamped is the feature length version of his first short film, “Fatal Kiss”, which was an official selection of the AFFMA International Film Festival and won the award for “Best Screenplay”. Other Festival Awards include “Best Director” and “Best Picture”. “Fatal Kiss” was one of the first short films ever acquired by HBO for International broadcast. “Pray Another Day”, Jeff’s second short film won awards for “Best Director” and “Best Music” at the 168 Film Festival was a finalist in the IP: Indie Producers Awards held at The Writers Guild of America.

As a working actor, Jeff has appeared in over 30 feature films and is co-starring in two films to be released next year, “Timmy and the Bandits” with Michael Madsen for HBO Family and the detective thriller, “Dark World” with Michael Pare and James Russo, and is featured in the new Kate Beckinsale film “Winged Creatures”. On television, Jeff co-starred in “Everybody Hates Chris”, the Novella series “Desire” and “Saints and Sinners” and was the Mayor for the first season on the Kristen Bell series “Veronica Mars”. Guest starring roles include the detective drama “Murder” for SPIKE-TV, “Short Circuitz” for MTV and played a pivotal character in the “NYPD Blue” episode that won Gordon Clapp an Emmy Award. Other shows include the Daytime dramas “One Life to Live” and “All my Children”.

Jeff graduated with a Degree in Telecommunications and Speech (state and national champion) and holds memberships with the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Los Angeles Film Teachers Association and is the official spokesman for the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films that produce the annual Saturn Awards. Kenyon Woods has been writing and producing Television for more than 20 years. He began his career as an Associate Producer for Major League Baseball’s official World Series Highlight Film. At MLB, He continued to Produce Sports Series for “This Week In Baseball,” and “The Pennant Chase,” His next stop was Producing Sports Highlight Packages for Sports News Satellite which was the precursor for ESPN’s Sports Center. It was at SNS that Kenyon learned to Produce under intense deadlines."

Kenyon Wrote and Produced one season of ESPN’s “The Sunkist Kids” which focused on notable Star Athletes including Tiger Woods. The next year, Kenyon was the Supervising Producer for 26 half hour episodes of “The Monster Truck Challenge Series.” At the same time, Kenyon Produced 17 One-hour Syndicated episodes of “SuperTrax.”These Motorsports shows were slickly produced with 7 digicam cameras and the innovative use of lip-stick cameras. Kenyon hired and supervised staff, oversaw facility rentals, conducted interviews with various Sports Stars, wrote every episode including commercials and supervised all post-production.

These series were delivered a month ahead of schedule and well below budget.Later, he Produced and Wrote Comedy Specials (ie: Macht Entertainment’s “Best of Comedy Live), Sitcoms (“Sounds Funny”), Game Shows, (“Love Connnection,”) and Reality “If I Had A Million…”. Kenyon has also Written and Produced thousands of eye-catching and Award-winning On-Air Promotions for ABC, Disney and NBC. He is pleased to be part of the “Firehouse” Producing team.
